We have taken our recent operational experience as Army Special Forces Medical Sergeants (18 Deltas) and designed a course to teach law enforcement personnel how to combine tactics and medicine to effectively manage victims suffering from combat style trauma.
When law enforcement officers are faced with the threat of violent criminals, active shooters, or terrorists it is important that they know how to care for themselves and others.
Survival from combat wounds is determined in the first few seconds after injury. About 80% of combat fatalities occur before a patient reaches a higher level of care. If decisive action is not taken within three minutes from injury (a window that most first responders would be unable to meet even with a safe scene), a critically injured patient is unlikely to survive. Having the knowledge and ability to take action can mean the difference between life and death.
Our 8 hour training course consists of classroom and scenario based training.
